There are three types of ADHD which are:

  • Predominantly inattentive presentation: This type of ADHD makes it difficult for the diagnosed individual to finish their daily tasks, pay attention to intricate details, keep up with conversations, or follow specific instructions. Moreover, a person suffering with this type of ADHD gets easily distracted and forgets things.
  • Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive presentation: The most common symptoms of a person suffering with hyperactive-impulsive presentation ADHD is fidgeting and talking excessibely. Accordingly, diagnosed individuals feel restless and irresistible impulsivity. Furthermore, this type of ADHD makes it difficult for people to listen patiently or wait for their turn. 
  • Combined Presentation: People suffering from combined presentation ADHD show symptoms of the earlier-mentioned types. However, since symptoms in a person can gradually change over time, their manifestation in the person also changes with time.
