The American Transportation Institute (ATI) was established in 1976. It used to offer certificate programs in the transportation industry. Soon, it was named Stratford College in 1998 and started offering associate’s degree programs in culinary arts and information technology. In 2001, it became Stratford University after it started offering master’s degrees. The University is dedicated to changing with the times to provide its students with education in high-demand industries. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) has accredited the University of Stratford to award certificates, diplomas, associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. The U.S. Department of Education has listed the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) as a nationally recognized accreditation agency. The university has been ranked #645 in nursing and #3 among top-ranked universities in Virginia.
Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses
The university offers industry-standard facilities like kitchen laboratories, culinary amenities, computer labs, cake and baking labs, health science labs, and fully-furnished classrooms. The campus has an herb garden used by culinary students and chef instructors every day. It has 4 campuses - Alexandria, Baltimore, Woodbridge, and New Delhi. The university offers undergraduate as well as postgrad courses in Business Administration, Computer Science and Information Technology, Culinary Arts, Health Sciences, Nursing, and Hospitality Management. The university is well known for its courses in nursing, health sciences, and culinary arts.
