The Southern Methodist University main campus is spread across an area of 237 acres. University has two more campuses, the Taos campus and the Plano campus. The Taos campus has an area of 423 acres whereas the Plano campus is comparatively a smaller campus, which has an area of 16 acres. The university offers programs from its 8 different faculties: School of Business, College of Humanities and Sciences, School of Law, School of Engineering, School of Theology, School of the Arts, School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, and School of Education and Human Development.
