Murray State University is a nationally recognized public university which was established in 1922. The university is home to more than 10,000 students that come to pursue higher education from over 46 countries. Murray State University offers over 143 bachelor’s, master's, and doctoral degrees in several areas. The university also offers English language programmes. The university has been ranked several times including no. 24 in the Regional Universities South and no. 11 among the top public schools among others. It also ranked #25 among the Best regional university, #11 in Top Public schools, and #48 in Best value schools.

Murray State University benefits its international students in many different ways. In order to pursue any undergraduate and postgraduate course offered by Murray State University, international students need to apply online via the university admission portal. The application process can only be allowed if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria for the programs offered at Murray State University. The university requires international candidates to prove their proficiency in the English language along with meeting the subject test requirements.

Accomplishments and Alumni 

The student life at Murray State University is very active. There are over 170 registered student organizations at the university. Student organizations at the university foster student involvement opportunities and leadership that enhance the personal and interpersonal development of the students. The Murray State University consists of a Young Alumni Council organized by the alumni of the university with the aim of providing a platform of interconnection between the graduates and the alumni of the university.
