History, Affiliations and Rankings
Established in 1998, LaSalle College Vancouver was formerly known as the Art Institute of Vancouver. LaSalle College is a Canadian-owned private higher education arts and design institute situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2002, started putting more focus on the expansion of design courses. In 2017, the LCI Education network acquired the institute. LaSalle College Vancouver is situated in an 80,000-square-foot building in Vancouver. The campus provides access to all faculties including the metro, shops, sports centers, and supermarkets. LaSalle College Vancouver campus is strategically located at the foothills of the West Coast Mountains and on the Pacific Ocean coast. Accomplishments and Alumni
LaSalle College Vancouver is accredited by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB), the Industry Training Authority as a designated training provider, and the Education Quality Assurance (EQA). LaSalle College Vancouver is recognized by the government of Canada as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). The top notable alumni of the institute are Nathan Fong (1959-2020), a Canadian Chef, Amy Herndon, Fashion Designer, and Laura Orrego Diaz, Fashion Marketer.

LaSalle College Vancouver have over 600 undergraduate students, on-campus. LaSalle College Vancouver’s student population is quite diverse with students from across Canada and all over the world. This gives students the opportunity to learn from their professors in class as well as from their peers and furthermore, students naturally develop a global perspective.
