History, Affiliations and Rankings

BITS Pilani, Dubai is a private institution and the only international branch campus of the reputed Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. BITS Pilani, Dubai has been successfully serving the student community in UAE since 2000, with its various bachelor’, master’, and Doctoral programs in Engineering and Technology. The university has been ranked globally among the top 100 universities in the QS BRICS University Rankings. It also ranks in the top 200 universities in the QS Asia University Rankings Asia 2021. 

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

The campus of the university contains 30 engineering laboratories, a huge library, CISCO Telepresence, smart classrooms, a Creative Lab, and advanced IT infrastructure. BITS Pilani, Dubai has 1500 students from over 20 countries. Courses offered are offered in B.E, M.E., M.B.A and PhD programs in various engineering disciplines.  These disciplines are divided into eight academic departments.  Scores of IELTS or TOEFL are mandatory for international students. However, admission is based on academic qualifications.

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

Dubai itself is a multicultural Emirate of United Arab Emirates. The Dubai campus of BITS Pilani also share the same kind of society in it. The university accommodates 58% of international students. It gives students a change to live and experience different cultures. Many companies like HP, Pwc, Schindler, Dabur, Beckers Group, etc. visit the campus on regular basis. More than 400 companies like this are the recruiting partners of the university that offer placements to its students after completion of their course.
