Study in UK: UoS is Offering Engineering Excellence Scholarships of up to £3000 for UG Students 

The University of Sheffield Faculty of Engineering is offering scholarships up to £3,000 /INR 3.07 lakh to international students. The scholarships are available to overseas fee-status students starting undergraduate degree in September.

To avail the scholarship  students must exceed the qualifications presented in the standard UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) offer. That is, applicants must attain A level grades (A*AA or above), or equivalent qualification in their respective country.

The University of Sheffield Engineering Excellence Scholarships will be awarded  £1,000 each year. Consequently, the scholarship beneficiary will have to maintain an overall score of 70% every academic year.

Engineering Excellence Scholarship : Eligibility

The University of Sheffield Engineering Excellence Scholarship eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The applicant must  be an international student wanting to pursue an undergraduate degree 
• Additionally, the student must be classified as an international student for the fee purposes.
• Moreover, the student must be taking all the prerequisite subjects required for the course 
• After receiving the scholarship the student must be willing to maintain an overall academic score of 70% or above

Engineering Excellence Scholarship: Conditions 

The University grants the Engineering Excellence Scholarships as a cash bursary at the beginning of the academic year.However, the amount of scholarship depends on the academic achievement of the student.

That is, the student must be willing to maintain an overall academic score of 70% every year. For example, for grade A*A A: £1,000, A*A*A: £2,000, and A*A*A*: £3,000.

The University of Sheffield automatically awards the Engineering Excellence Scholarships, so students are not required to fill out any application in any academic year.

Some of the participating departments for the  Engineering Excellence Scholarships include Chemical & Biological Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automatic Control and Systems Engineering.
