Study in Canada: 3+ University of Victoria Undergraduate International Scholarships for Academic Year 2024-25

The University of Victoria is offering several undergraduate scholarships to students. International students entering the University for the first time are eligible for most of these scholarships. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount. However, the exact amount and eligibility requirements depend on the scholarship you are applying for. Most of these scholarships do not require any application. Once the University admits you, they will automatically award the scholarship amount to you if you meet the eligibility criteria.. As per QS World Rankings 2024, the University of Victoria ranks 322 globally.

International Student Support Award 

The international student support award (1 or more)  is $1,000 per year. The University gives the award to students who are either entering or continuing their undergraduate studies. Even part-time students (minimum of 6.0 units) are eligible. However, this scholarship is only available to students with demonstrated financial need. Moreover, the scholarship value and the number can vary.

University of Victoria International Entrance Scholarship

The University of Victoria International Excellence Scholarship is given to students with demonstrated academic achievement. Students who are entering the 1st year of an undergraduate degree are eligible. The scholarship benefit is $5,000. However, this amount is subject to change.

Vikes International Athlete Award 

Vikes International Academic Award is $40,000. This amount is payable at  $10,000 per year for 4 years. The scholarship is given to both students transferring to UVic and entering the University for the first time. To be eligible you must complete on on any Vikes Varsity team at the University of Victoria. The benefit is an amount of $10,000. You must meet the U SPORTS eligibility requirements to renew your scholarship.

Aga Khan Academy Renewable Scholarship

The Aha Khan Academy Renewable scholarship amount is  $90,000. This amount is payable at $22,500 per year over four years. Next year, the scholarship committee will open applications for international students entering an Undergraduate program who demonstrate academic excellence, school involvement, community service, and leadership skills. Applicants must submit an application to be considered for the scholarship.
