Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority or KDHA has released data that shows an 8% increase in student enrollment in the higher education institutions in Dubai. More than 30,000 students have enrolled in university programmes in these institutions. Among them,  12% are international students. Moreover, there is a 21% increase in programs offered.

According to Dr Abdulla Al Karam, Director-General of KHDA, the opening of international campuses in Dubai and the availability of a variety of programmes is attracting international students. 

Reasons for the 8%  increase in student enrollments in Dubai

  • In the last 2 years, 80% of students who have graduated from Dubai universities are either employed or are pursuing education.
  • As per the Global Terrorism Index, UAE is one of the safest countries to live in the world.
