International Yoga Day is celebrated on the 21st of June each year. This year the world will commemorate the tenth International Yoga Day. The purpose of this day is to increase public knowledge of the many psychological, spiritual, and physical advantages of yoga. The Yoga day will be celebrated at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre in Srinagar and this will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Worldwide Events on Yoga Day in 2024

In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024. It is anticipated that between 3000 and 4000 people would attend the event which is set to take place at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) which is located next to the gorgeous Boulevard road. In addition to party workers, students or police officers many sportsmen and celebrities will attend the event. As per the officials, there will be multiple layers of security in place when the Prime Minister arrives in Srinagar on Thursday night according to the officials.
