Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings 2024 are already out. The Mainland of China is leading the board once again with Peking Univerity ranking at the top again this year. Furthermore, a list of the top 10 Asian universities has been notified by QS on Twitter on 08 November 2023.
Besides, 856 Asian universities are included in the QS Asia university rankings for 2024. As has been noted before, QS has analysed these universities on the basis of 11 indicators. Academic reputation, academic services and research facilities are some of the basic criteria.
The various sub-regions included in the rankings are the following; Central Asia including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, Eastern Asia including mainland China, Japan and South Korea, South-Eastern Asia which includes Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand and Southern Asia including India and Pakistan.
Top 10 Universities in the List
Without any further ado, here are the top 10 universities in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024.

QS Asia University Ranking Trend
Peking University, China topped the list for the second time consecutively. The university was also on top in QS Asia University 2023. NUS which ranked #1 in 2022 and #2 in 2023 has further fallen in rank to the position of #3 in QS Asia University Rankings 2024.
The Universiti Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology, Daejeon, South Korea and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China did not make it to the top 10 this year. The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Korea University and Yonsei University have climbed up the ladder instead.
