Study Abroad: Marvadi University Bolsters Ties with Leading Universities of Polland and Hungary

Marvadi University has collaborated with the University of Public Service, Hungary and the University of Dunaujyaris, Hungary. This agreement is signed to encourage academic cooperation.

The Marvadi University (MU) which is the youngest institution recognized as a centre of excellence by the Gujarat government has entered into this five-year agreement. MU has collaborated with the University of Public Service(UPS) and the University of Dunaujvaros, Hungary. The collaboration will include activities such as supporting mobility programs, the flow of scientific publications and related information between the two universities.

The program also offers training for the students of MU and UPS students at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels in all disciplines. MU has also collaborated with the University of Dunaujvaros to offer a dual degree programme to students enrolled in BBA/BCom. The students can study for three years at the MU campus and then continue their further studies in Hungary.

Benefits of the MU-UPS Agreement

The partnership will help the students to take their learnings beyond campus and across borders. It will promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise. Also, enhance the research quality and provide opportunities for international learning and cultural exchange.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law at MU says “ The cooperation agreement with Hungary will form the basis for projects developed by other academic and administrative units. For both universities and will highlight the importance of public administration, international studies and water diplomacy between partner universities. The latter is the focus of the agreement since both sides have identified a key element of cooperation. In the field of water diplomacy and water management.”

The MU has collaborated with many universities in Romania, Brazil, the Czech Republic, the USA, Germany and Lithuania. There are more than 1700 international students from 53 countries enrolled at Marvadi University. These students come from different countries like Myanmar, Turkey, Tanzania, Zambia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka etc.
