In Google’s partnership to make NYC a global cybersecurity leader, the company will fund NYU, CUNY, Columbia and Cornell universities. The universities will receive $1 Million as funding to fuel research programs at the university until 2025.
This funding will make Cybersecurity a major research centre at these four leading institutions for higher education. The program will also benefit students by introducing diversified courses and advanced degrees in Cybersecurity.
The universities are advised to increase the strength of their cybersecurity degree programs. Which means more seats for both national and international students. Altogether, it is a $12 Million project by Google, fostered to deal with the cybersecurity threats with new research and cutting-edge projects.
