The newly launched programme, set to start in the 2023 fall semester, intends to give students the information and skills they need for a lucrative career in international affairs. Graduates will be well-equipped to pursue a variety of career routes, such as positions in foreign service, diplomacy, commerce, international aid, international law, international development, international finance, and other related disciplines.
The extensive Master of Arts in International Studies curriculum includes a thorough understanding of historical occurrences that have influenced the current world order.
Students will also research how current events affect relationships between nations and organisations on a regional and international level.
Examining historical themes that have an impact on current relations in the Middle East, especially in the Gulf region, will be a major focus of the programme. It will also examine how current discussions and agreements may impact both state and non-state entities in the near future.
Whether it is the environment, politics, globalisation, human rights, global migration, conflict, or international law and organisations, students will be able to concentrate on the aspects of international studies that most interest them.
Linking theoretical to practical learning is emphasised in order to prepare students for career success after graduation.
