SN Bose Scholarship

The SN Bose scholarship is a joint initiative of the Indian and US government. The Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and WINStep Forward, USA has launched the scholarship to assist Indian students to pursue research internships in the US. Moreover, selected scholars will get a stipend of $2,000, airfare expense, and health insurance.

The scholarships are available for UG and PG students. However, students must pursue subjects like atmospheric and earth sciences, engineering sciences, mathematical and computational sciences, among others.

Hubert H Humphrey Scholarship

The Hubert H Humphrey Scholarship is a part of the Nehru Fulbright Programme. The duration of the scholarship programme is 10 months. As a part of the programme, a 6 week affiliation with a US based organization is provided.

Additionally, selected students are placed in 13 host universities across the US. The scholarship programme is meant for professionals for their overall development. That is, those with experience in leadership or in public service can apply. For example, agriculture, urban planning, public health, among others.
