Differences Between PTE and IELTS

The Pearson Test of English (PTE) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) are quite popular language efficiency tests among students who are looking to pursue their higher education at institutions/ universities abroad. Is PTE Easier Than IELTS?

  • Both exams have a time duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). But the PTE exam gives more time to the Speaking and Writing section, as this section focuses on two different skills of candidates, Speaking and Writing.
