There are also other authorized and recognized institutions that will help with the credential assessment process for immigration. Some of them are, the International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICS), the Medical Council of Canada (An official body for Doctors) and the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQS). 

Students must be aware of the fact that, if one of the bodies is not approving the documents submitted by you because of the university, others will also do the same. They will not approve your credential assessment process.
