Gilman Scholarships are awarded to 18 University of Wyoming students to study abroad in 2022–2023 batch. Nearly 1,500 exceptional and diverse U.S. undergraduate students received scholarships via the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program to take part in study abroad programmes in more than 80 different nations.
Gilman Scholarships award winners come from 452 American universities, 50 United States of America states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico as well.
The Institute of International Education assists the Department of State in implementing the programme. The UW Global Engagement Office and the Education Abroad Office together at UW provide assistance to the international students for Gilman Scholarship.

The application procedure will go online in the middle of January 2023, and applications will be accepted up until March 9th, 2023.
With the aim to improve access to study abroad, a scholarship grant given to a student is taken into consideration for students from various locations who are enrolled in different programs and degrees.
