How to Apply in Offline Mode for the New Zealand Visitor Visa?
In order to apply in offline mode for the visitor visa the candidates must complete the paper application and submit it to their nearest visa application center. They must follow the steps below to apply for a visitor visa:
- They must complete the application form and print it from the New Zealand Immigration webpage.
- They must book an appointment at their nearest visa application center. For this they must visit the VFS Global website.
- They must print the confirmation email with the appointment details. They must print the attachment email together with the booking details.
- Submit the application form and all the required documents to the interview appointment and try to avoid any application being rejected.
- They can pay the required fees when they attend the appointment. The Immigration cost, courier fee and VAC Service fee should be combined into one payment. This can be paid with a visa or MasterCard.

Validity Period of New Zealand Visitor Visa
The validity period of a visitor visa is 18 months. They are allowed to stay for nine months within these 18 months:
- The 18 months are calculated backwards from the last day they plan to enter New Zealand
- If the last day they will be in New Zealand is December 1, your 18-month period will begin on June 1 of the year before
They can apply to stay in New Zealand for another three months if they:
- If they need more time to finish their tourist itinerary
- They cannot leave New Zealand for reasons beyond their control
- They have applied for the first time for residence
