Full Form of ICMR: The full form of ICMR is the Indian Council of Medical Research. The ICMR is India’s premier agency for the advancement, organisation, and promotion of biomedical research.   • ICMR JRF: Applicants must have an M.Sc degree/M.A. degree with at least a 55% grade point average from an accredited institution. The maximum age for the general category is 28 years old. The minimum age requirement is 33 years, and the percentage requirement for SC/ST PwD categories is 50%.
  • ICMR RA: Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited university in a related field. The role has no age restriction.
  • ICMR Assistant: Candidates for the position of ICMR Assistant must hold a minimum three-year bachelor’s degree in any field from an institution of higher learning that has government recognition. The applicants must also be proficient in Microsoft Office and Powerpoint.
  • ICMR Scientist: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. There is no age limit for this position.

Fees for ICMR

There are no costs associated with the research fellowships or other programmes offered by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). There are, nevertheless, some related expenses, such as:

Application fee: For General/EWS/OBC applicants, the application price is INR 1,500; for SC/ST candidates, it is INR 1,200.
