The delicate topic the movie had adopted was applaudable. The movie has given a lot of lessons to society, parents as well as students. This is also very clearly depicted in the movie, how all the teachers were just making things worse for Ishan and when the teacher changed, his whole outlook towards growth changed and his output became better and he started taking interest all of a sudden in the activities. Being the topper is not the only important thing

Being good at studies is important, being a topper is great but what if you are not one of those toppers? What would be the purpose of shortlisting the top 3 in a class if everyone is a part of that list? And does life stop if you are not the topper? No, life does not stop, nor should it be. Marks do determine the level of your education, but only marks are not your identity. Your identity os made up of a lot more bigger things than just your scores. It would be no big deal if you did not make it to the toppers list, you tried, you followed, you worked and learnt a lot of things in the way that is what matters. Do not let the score you get in your exams decide your worth, work for the right things and in the right direction like knowledge and quality education.

You can still have talent even if you hate studying

There are a lot of students who are not really good at studies but are the sports champions playing at the national, and international levels. There are students who do not perform well in class but are the next Michael Jackson or Shah Rukh Khan. the students who may not score in class may be the next most popular artist, known across the world. The level of your score or your interest in your school books never determines if you are talented or not. Yes, the people who score well are talented, but the ones who do not are talented too be it in a different way or skill. Finding the talent and polishing it to use it in the best possible way is very important. 

Know your goals and follow them   

Last but not the least is to know to hold on to your passion. If you like drawing, use it the best, if you like singing improve in it, if you like dancing practice it and take it to the level that it becomes your profession too. Losing your pass in the race of scoring is not a great job to do. If your goal is to score 99 in exams, good, but if your goal is to become the top theatrix performer of your batch, that to is great. The goals can be different for everybody. What important is to know your goals, hold on to them be whatever be the situation.
