Apollo-11 -Space Mission was the American space mission that successfully landed humans on the moon’s surface. The Apollo 11 mission was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 39A. The main motto of this mission was to fulfil the objective of President John F. Kennedy on 25 May 1961 to demonstrate a successful crewed lunar landing on the Moon and return back to Earth. The Apollo-11 Space mission landed on the moon’s surface on 20 July 1969. Objective of the Apollo-11 Space Mission

The main objective of the US Apollo-11 mission was to carry humans to the moon and return them back to Earth. This mission was successful and became the first-ever space mission to carry humans to the moon. The other objective is to conduct scientific space exploration by the lunar module.

Commander Neil Armstrong, Lunar Pilot Edwin Buzz Aldrin, and Command Module Pilot Michael Collins successfully landed on the moon. Around 650 million people witnessed the television images of Neil Armstrong as he took the first step on the surface of the moon. And he describes this historical event as “one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.”

As per the set goal of President Kennedy all of them made a dramatic splashdown into the Pacific Ocean while returning back to the Earth on 24 July 1969 at 12:50 PM. They were quarantined for some time to protect the planet from foreign germs from the moon.
