Dear Abhishek,

I hope your final examinations are over and you must be having some leisure time. As I know you are a book lover and want to quench your thirst with new books, therefore I am sharing my review of a book, ¨Where the Crawdads Sings by Della Owens.¨

It was one of the most impactful novels I have read in a long time. The story follows a girl named Kya, who grows up isolated and alone in the marshes of North Carolina after being abandoned by her family. She is forced to raise herself amongst nature, with only brief interactions with the nearby town.

The novelist Della Ownens captured different landscapes of Kiya´s inhabitants. Abhishek, her details of writing will transport you right into the details of the marsh. You will feel immersed in the boggy ground, the briny creeks, and the whistle of winds through the grass. The novel is yet another example of lyrical nature with fine writing.

I highly recommend you to read it, especially when you find solace in the natural world as I do. Let me know if you pick it up. I would love to discuss it more with you. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the book or any others you have read lately.

Love,
Swapnil

Dear Tahira,
It has been a long time since I last wrote to you. As we both are bibliophiles so here is a big update on that way where I have just finished a book called ‘The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.‘ It is a fascinating story about a woman named Nora who is struggling with regret, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

The book made me think about how all our choices, big and small, lead us to where we are today for better or worse. We can drive ourselves crazy replaying various scenarios and alternate timelines in our heads, and wish we would have done X instead of Y.

The Midnight Library is a book I would highly recommend to people who are in search of big essential questions about the meaning of life, death, purpose, and what constitutes a well-settled life. It is an imaginative thought experiment brought to life by Nora´s fascinating journey. I found the book comforting, philosophical, and full of heart.

Let me know, if you decide to pick it up. I would love to hear your thoughts.

With Love,
Amisha
