Sainik Schools in India offers admission to students in Classes 6th and 9th. The admissions to Sainik School 2023-24 were conducted on 8th January 2023 at various exam centres. Candidates who want to take admitted to Sainik School will have to appear for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). Sainik Schools offers admission to boy students depending on their final score on the entrance test. Girl students can also appear for this entrance exam in all 33 Sainik Schools in India, but only for Class VI.
