Candidates who want to take admitted to Sainik School will have to appear for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). Sainik Schools offers admission to boy students depending on their final score on the entrance test. Girl students can also appear for this entrance exam in all 33 Sainik Schools in India, but only for Class VI.
