About Arya Vidya Mandir 

Arya Vidya Mandir School was established in 1967 and opened in the year 1971. It is managed by the Arya Vidya Mandir Society and has 3 branches – Bandra West, Santacruz, and Juhu. Arya Vidya Mandir Society is a registered trust and the schools are Punjabi, unaided, and minority group of institutions. It offers Punjabi and Marathi as elective languages to students. The student ratio (20:1) at Arya Vidya Mandir school is quite impressive, as it ensures that students get proper attention from the teachers.

The Admission Process of Arya Vidya Mandir School

The online admission portal for playschool (Nursery) for the year 2024-25 is open from November 2023. The following table represents some of the important details regarding the admission process. Parents must keep in mind that these are tentative dates.

Residence Zone	Each of the Arya Vidya Mandir Schools has a specific set of pin codes. Children whose residences are in this set of pin codes are only eligible to apply.

The parents can fill out the online application form if their children meet the aforementioned prerequisites. Along with the application form, the parents need to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/- through the payment gateway. The admission will be awarded according to the availability of the seats and the decision of the school will be final in all matters.

MDL (Multi-Dimensional Learning)	MDL is a project that uses a multi-dimensional approach that requires students to conduct research on a specified topic that has connections to several other areas. There is no prerequisite work for parents or students. Under the teacher’s direction, students create vibrant PowerPoint presentations in the allotted time.
NTB (No Textbook)	This is a school policy that when there is a lack of a required textbook then it will urge students to indulge in information and knowledge from various sources. It makes students’ baggage lighter and broadens their studying opportunities.
CTS (Computational Thinking Skills)	This problem-solving technique is built on the subsequent steps: 1. Decomposition is the breakdown of a problem into smaller components. 2. NBLP (Need-Based Learning Programme)	The Need-Based Learning Program is implemented in classes. The students are divided into seven groups based on their unique learning requirements in areas like math, language development, Hindi, reading, writing, creating independent thinkers, and filling in general learning gaps.  The names assigned to the groupings are- Hope, Joy, Peace, Friendship, Faith, Happiness, and Togetherness.
NBD (No Bag Day)	Every month, on the 25th, grades 1 to 10 participate in No Bag Day to honour Madan Mohan Malviya, an Indian educator and politician known for his work in the Indian Independence Movement.  As students don’t carry books, the teaching and learning approach is changed to one based on activities.
