Arya Vidya Mandir School was established in 1967 and opened in the year 1971. It is managed by the Arya Vidya Mandir society and has 3 branches – Bandra West, Santacruz, and Juhu. The online admission portal for playschool (Nursery) for the year 2024-25 is open from November 2023. The following table represents some of the important details regarding the admission process. Parents must keep in mind that these are tentative dates.

Eligibility age  For playschool- From 1st October 2020 to 30th September 2021 (both days are inclusive)
For Prep1 – From 1st October 2019 to 30th September 2020 (both days are inclusive)

For Prep 2 – From 1st October 2018 to 30th September 2019 (both days are inclusive)
For 1st – From 1st October 2017 to 30th September 2018
From 2nd to 10th – As per the previous school report card. 

Residence Zone  Each of the Arya Vidya Mandir Schools has a specific set of pin codes. Children whose residences are in this set of pin codes are only eligible to apply. 

The parents can fill out the online application form if their children meet the aforementioned prerequisites. Along with the application form, the parents need to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000/- through the payment gateway. There is no prerequisite work for parents or students. Under the teacher’s direction, students create vibrant PowerPoint presentations in the allotted time.
NTB (No Textbook) This is a school policy that when there is a lack of a required textbook then it will urge students to indulge in information and knowledge from various sources. It makes students’ baggage lighter and broadens their studying opportunities.
CTS (Computational Thinking Skills) This problem-solving technique is built on the subsequent steps:

NBLP (Need-Based Learning Programme) The Need-Based Learning Program is implemented in classes. The names assigned to the groupings are- Hope, Joy, Peace, Friendship, Faith, Happiness, and Togetherness.
NBD (No Bag Day) Every month, on the 25th, grades 1 to 10 participate in No Bag Day to honour Madan Mohan Malviya, an Indian educator and politician known for his work in the Indian Independence Movement
