IGNOU M.Ed Admission Process
IGNOU offers two convenient methods for M.Ed. admission: online and offline.
Online Admission Process
- Visit the IGNOU Online Admission System.
- Select your desired M Ed program and carefully review the program details, including eligibility criteria, fee structure, and duration.
- Click on “NEW REGISTRATION” if you’re a first-time applicant. Fill in the required registration details, including your email and mobile number.
- Choose a unique username (8 to 16 characters) and an alphanumeric password (8 to 16 characters).
- After completing the mandatory information, click “SUBMIT.” Your username will be sent to you via email and SMS.
Prepare the following scanned documents:
- Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Experience Certificate (if any, less than 200 KB)
- Category Certificate (if SC/ST/OBC, less than 200 KB)
At last, pay the required fees using one of the online payment methods. Once you have uploaded all the documents, you can preview your form, save it, and print it for future reference.
Offline Admission Process
If you prefer the offline method, you can collect the IGNOU Application Form from your nearest regional centre. You can also download the form online. Follow these steps for offline admission:
- Fill in the M.Ed. application form with the provided instructions carefully.
- Review your form for accuracy and completeness.
- Submit your completed M.Ed. Admission Form to the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for M.Ed. admission at IGNOU, it’s crucial to understand the eligibility criteria and fee structure for the programme.
