Sathyadeepam Scholarship: Overview
Kerala’s government has made tremendous improvements in the state’s social and economic development. Literacy has always been a high goal for the organisation. There are numerous educational institutes in the state, and Kottayam is the first district in India to achieve 100% literacy.
The Directorate of Collegiate Education Kerala (DCE Kerala) assists by awarding scholarships to applicants pursuing higher education. If you are a South Indian student, you may be eligible for the Sathyadeepam Scholarship.

- On the homepage, click on the Sathyadeepam National Scholarship Application form.
- On the screen, a new tab with the Sathyadeepam National Scholarship online Application form will appear.
- Before completing the application form, please read the instructions.
- Upload the necessary documents, as well as a current passport-size photocopy.
- Press the submit button.
- Finally, print the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Benefits
Students who pass the written exam will be granted scholarships ranging in value. Students who finish first, second, and third in all Kerala levels will be honoured at a public award ceremony. Cash prizes and medals will be distributed to the winning schools.
Examination for the Scholarship
The Sathyadeepam Scholarship Mode of Examination is Objective-based.
- LKG and UKG kids will be given 20 objective questions to answer as well as drawing sketches with crayons.
- Students in grades 1–4 will be asked 50 objective questions.
- Students in grades 5–7 will be asked 60 objective questions.
- Students in grades 8 through 10 will be asked 80 objective questions.
- All exams will last one hour and thirty minutes.
- Students in grades 5 through 10 will be given an OMR sheet to fill in the answers.
- Students in grades LKG through 4 will be asked to provide answers on the question paper itself.
Syllabus
The exam syllabus includes concepts from Maths, English, and Science. General knowledge will also be tested, and it will be tailored to candidates of all grades.
Please keep in mind that the syllabus for the aforementioned disciplines will be based on the school syllabus.
The Sathyadeepam Scholarship exam costs Rs.100/-.
