Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is a private institute located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha and was established in 1992. What is a KIIT Scholarship?
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology provides educational opportunities to students who are unable to pursue their academics due to financial barriers. Such students can apply to the KIIT scholarship scheme and avail of the benefits of up to INR 50,000 per month and continue their education without any impediment.

PradyumnaBal Memorial Scholarships
In the memory of Late Pradyumna Kishore Bal who was the founder of KIIT, each year two students who are poor and have excellent academic records are provided with completely free education under this scheme. Tuition fees, hostel fees, books and all other requirements are covered under the scholarship. The decision on the selection of students will be finalised by the committee.
KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarships
The institute has KIIT Poverty-Cum-Merit Scholarships for the poor and needy. The amount to be given is decided at the end of the selection based on students’ needs. The decision is held by the committee created by the institute.
Teaching Assistantships
There is a living-learning programme institute by KIIT for M.Tech students initiated to benefit postgraduate students, who wish to gain experience in teaching and research and supplement their income while studying. The number of awards given is flexible and is held by the management of KIIT University.

KIIT Merit Scholarship
This scholarship scheme is for the first position holder in the semester examination for different schools under the university for 6 months. The amount awarded varies from INR 5,000 – INR 10,000 per month.
KIITEE Merit Scholarship
Free education is provided to the toppers of KIITEE (B.Tech course) if admitted to KIIT and it also provides scholarships to the top 1000 students of KIITEE (B.Tech course) during their study period at KIIT.
KIIT International Scholarship
From each country 2 and 10 students are provided with this scholarship which offers full or half scholarships respectively.
PhD Scholarship
For the students of full-time PhD, a scholarship worth INR 20,000 is offered per month by KIIT.
Contingency Fund
A contingency fund of INR 50,000 is available for the students pursuing full-time PhD and M.Tech.

- 10th Pass Certificate
- 12th Marksheet and Pass Certificate
- Demand draft
- Graduation marks sheet
- Pass Certificate only for MCA, MCA(LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology)
- Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Marksheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates)
- Tech./B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For M.Tech./LLM/Ph.D Candidates)
- Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate
- GATE Score Card (for M.Tech. degree GATE qualified only)

Eligibility Criteria
The applicants should apply according to the eligibility criteria, which are
- The academic requirements must be fulfilled for each course, failing which the scholarship will stand cancelled.
- The applicant must be born after July 1, 2001, for undergraduate scholarship courses.
