XAT 2024 Exam Dates: The Xavier Aptitude Test also popularly known as XAT. The exam is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur to grant admission to students wanting to study MBA/PGDM programmes. The XAT exam will be held on 7 January 2024 and the last day to register for this exam is 30 November 2023. XAT 2024 Exam Timings⏲️
As per the official website of XAT, the XAT 2024 exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM instead of 9:30 AM to 12:40 PM, followed until 2023. The XAT 2024 exam duration is 3 hours 30 minutes.
XAT 2024: Registration Dates
The last date for registering for the XAT 2024 exam is 30 November 2023. The candidates need to register themselves via the official website (XATONLINE website). At the time of filling out the form, the candidate will have to pay a sum of Rs 2,100. Whereas for NRI/Foreign Candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT will have to pay Rs. 5,000.
XAT 2024: Admit Card
XAT Admit Card will be issued to all aspiring students upon submitting their XAT application form 2024 successfully. An admit card is one of the most important documents which students must carry with them at the exam centre along with valid ID proof. It contains all the information about the student. It includes the exam date, time, hall number and other instructions which need to be followed by the student on D-day.
As per the official website (xlri.ac.in), it has been mentioned that the admit card will be available for download starting 20 January 2024.
How to Download XAT 2024 Admit Card?
To download the XAT 2024 admit card, here are some basic steps which need to be followed by all the students.
- Visit the official website of XLRI Jamshedpur.
- Click on the “log in” tab.
- The candidate will now have to provide their XAT User ID and Date of Birth
- Click on the hall tick tab.
- Soon, the option to view the XAT 2024 admit card will be displayed on your computer screen.
- Finally, click on the download tab and save the XAT admit card as a PDF.
XAT 2024: Result Dates
All those candidates appearing for the XAT 2024 exam must note down the dates of when the results come out to avoid missing out on any important day. As of now, the official website has not yet released the official date of when the results will come out.
How to Check XAT 2024 Result?
The exam conducting body, which is, XLRI Jamshedpur will be declaring the result for XAT 2024 online on its official website. All those candidates appearing for the exam can check the result by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Begin by visiting the official website of XAT 2024.
- Click on the XAT Result tab as shown on the home page.
- The student will then have to enter their information as asked.
- Enter the security code.
- Click on ‘Login’.
- Finally, you will be able to download the XAT Result which will be available in a scorecard format and save it for future reference.

Other than XLRI, around 160 MBA colleges including XIMB, IMT, IMI, MICA, TAPMI, Great Lakes, GIM Goa and others will be accepting it.
The CAT exam does not have a Decision-Making section and GK section but the XAT exam has Decision Making and GK as separate sections.
