The registration process for Tamil Nadu (TN) NEET PG Counselling 2023 has been commenced by the Directorate of Medical Educational and Research (DMER) in Tamil Nadu. Candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG examination can now submit their applications for the counselling session online through the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. 

The deadline for applying for the counselling round is July 13, 2023. The dates for the declaration of rank and counselling rounds haven’t been announced yet. There are going to be 4 rounds of counselling, namely  Round -1 Round -2, Mop-up and Stray round.

Here is a step-by-step guide for the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2023 Counselling registration process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu’s Directorate Of Medical Education and Research, that is tnmedicalselection.net.

Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the link for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2023 Counselling.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with the required details and ensure that all necessary documents are uploaded as per the instructions.

Step 5: Proceed to make the payment of the application fees.

Step 6: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

Step 7: Download a copy of the filled application form for future reference.

Step 8: Take a printout of the downloaded application form.

By following these steps, you will successfully complete the registration process for the TN NEET PG Counselling.

Application Fees

During the time of application, all applicants need to pay an application fee of INR 3,000 (non-refundable). Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) / Scheduled Tribe candidates of Tamil Nadu native are exempted from paying the fee. 

It should be noted that during the time of registration for counselling, all candidates have to pay INR 1,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Those who are aspiring to secure admission in Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Courses must meet the eligibility criteria of qualifying the NEET PG 2023 examination conducted by the National Board of Examination.

In Tamil Nadu, candidates belonging to the General Category should obtain a minimum percentile of 50 in the NEET PG 2023 examination to be eligible for admission. For SC/ST/OBC (including persons with disability), the percentile is 40 and it is 45 for General Persons with Disability.
