JSSC PGT Application Form 2023

The application window for the JSSC PGT recruitment/exam 2023 is open between 05 April 2023 to 04 May 2023. Refer to the following steps to apply online. 

How to Apply Online for JSSC PGT 2023 Exam? 

  • First, candidates are required to visit the JSSC official application portal on the mentioned body’s website. 
  • After that, one needs to click on the JSSC PGTTCE application link. 
  • Doing so will take you to a new page. 
  • Once redirected to a new page, applicants will need to press on the ‘Apply online’ option. 
  • Then, the candidate’s credentials will be asked to fill in. 
  • Once the credentials are filled in correctly, candidates will be asked to upload the requisite documents. 
  • With that done, one will need to submit their application form and pay the application fee.

JSSC PGT 2023 Selection Process

The selection process for the JSSC PGT recruitment procedure is comparatively less convoluted than the others. Candidates aspiring to ace their JSSC examination (2023)  are required to meet the following credentials in order to qualify for the selection procedure. 

  • Applicants are required to qualify for the CBT (Computer Based Test). The exam will be divided into two sections, each worth 200 points.
  • Document Verification is required for one to get selected.

Candidates are required to procure the following documents for verification. Document verification plays an imperative role in the JSSC PGT selection process. One should be able to provide their: 

  • Original 10th Standard Certificate 
  • Mark sheets and original certificates of 12th Standard, Graduation, Post-Graduation, and B-Ed. 
  • Original higher qualification certificates.
  • Domicile certificate for Reserved Categories. 
  • Certificate for Physically Handicapped 
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates

JSSC PGT Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Aspirants prospecting to work as PGT teachers in Jharkhand are required to apply for the JSSC PGT exam.  There are certain conditions that must be met for one to be deemed eligible for applying. The requisite credentials are: 

Educational Qualification

Have a look at the following list to get an idea regarding who all are considered eligible for the application academically. 

  • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in any relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. They should have a degree in B.ED from any recognised university. 
  • Applicants having a Master’s degree in any relevant subject with a minimum aggregate score of 45% marks are deemed eligible. They must even have a B.ED degree from a recognised institution. 
  • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in any relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. They should have a degree in B.ED/BSC  from any recognised university. 
  • Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in any relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. They should have a 3-year degree in B.ED/M.ED  from any recognised university. 

(Applicants belonging to the SC/ST/PWD communities will be provided with a 5% mark relaxation.)

JSSC PGT Exam Pattern 2023
