PU MET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are applying for the PU MET entrance exam must know that before applying for the exam they have to go through certain eligibility criteria. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria for the different specialisations offered by Panjab University.

MBA in Retail Management, MBA in Banking and Insurance Management, and MBA in Capital Markets

The candidates who are applying for the MBA in Retail Management, MBA in Banking and Insurance Management and MBA in Capital Markets have to go through certain eligibility criteria. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria for the applying students:

  • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in any discipline of Panjab University or any other recognised university with not less than 50%  marks.  
  • The candidates must have passed the final examination conducted by either 

(a) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or England,

(b) The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England 

(c) The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in research/teaching.

MBA (Information Technology & Telecommunications Management) and MBA (Infrastructural Management)  

  • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and/or Mathematics from Panjab University or any other recognised University and have scored a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. 

 MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)  

  • The candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy  (B.Pharma) from Panjab University or any other recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks  
  • The candidates must be M.B.B.S from Panjab University or any other recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc) subject of Panjab University or any other recognised University by Panjab University with a minimum of 50% marks.
  •  The candidates must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from Panjab University or any other University recognised with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The candidates must have a degree in B.Sc (Medical)/B.Sc.(Biotechnology)/ B.Sc. (Biochemistry) of Panjab University or any other recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks.

MBA (Hospital Management)  

  • The candidates must have an MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ B. Pharmacy/ B.Sc (Nursing)/ Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Panjab University or a degree from any other recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks. 
  • The candidates applying for the PUMET exam must have a B.Sc (Medical)/B.Sc. (Biotechnology)/B.Voc. (Hospital Management)/B.Sc. (Biochemistry) degree from Panjab University or any other recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks.
