The University of Panjab (PU) is yet to release notifications related to their annually conducted entrance exam for admissions under the various UG Law programs. The mode of examination for PU BA LLB 2024 will be an offline-based entrance exam.

This year, the number of combined seats for both courses is 360. The university will accept students to these 5 years courses on a merit basis, which will be released soon after the examination. PU BA LLB 2024 Exam Pattern

The Panjab University BA LLB Entrance Test is administered in three languages, that are, English, Hindi, and Panjabi. Any candidate applying for this exam must choose the attempted language only once and continue the same thereafter while writing the paper.

The exam will put to test the thinking and psychological ability of the applicant by asking objective-type questions mainly from general knowledge, legal aptitude, and general knowledge. Based on the merits scored by the candidates, a cut-off list is released to shortlist the candidates who are offered to choose from the list of colleges under the Panjab University Campus.

Eligibility Criteria

Pursuing a career in law by BA LLB courses requires a student to spend 5 years in gaining professional knowledge in regards to the law. Since the course is of 5 years, it is better to start as early as possible once you become confident to choose the course. Therefore, it is advisable for the candidates appearing in the PU BA LLB entrance 2023 to check the eligibility criteria wisely, to appear for the examination.

• The applicants are required to have their passing certificate of 12th standard, with a minimum score of 50% marks. 
• There is a 5% relaxation for the candidates who belong to the minority or reserved classes.
• Those candidates, who hold the passing certificate of 10+2 from an open university, are not eligible to register themselves for the examination.
• There is no age limit to appear for the entrance examination of PU BA LLB 2023.

• Complete your registration by filling in your details, and academic details, and uploading your passport-size photograph and scanned signature.
• While choosing your exam centre, it is advisable to choose a location easier to commute for the student.
• To complete your registration, the candidate would be required to pay the prescribed fee either offline or online.
