The All India Law Entrance Test, or AILET, is a national-level law entrance exam administered by the National Law University, Delhi. The AILET exam is conducted to determine admission to five-year integrated BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programmes. Candidates should be aware that the National Law University of Delhi is the only national law school that will not accept the CLAT 2023 for undergraduate or postgraduate admission. AILET PG 2023 Important Dates: Latest Update 

On January 6, 2023, the National Law University (NLU), Delhi released the first provisional merit list for the LLM programme. Candidates on the merit list had to pay a fee of Rs. 50,000 as a provisional admission confirmation fee on or before January 11, 2023. The AILET LLM counselling schedule has been revised by the university. The AILET counselling invite list for the LLM programme was previously released by the university.

Registration 

Filling out the AILET application form 2023 entails procedures such as registration, inputting personal, communication, and educational information, and paying the application price. The registration price for AILET 2023 is Rs. 3500 (Rs. 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants). The registration process will start in the month of September 2023 and ends in the month of November 2023. Sometimes the application deadline is extended but candidates should not wait until the last moment to apply.

How to Apply? 

  • Candidates must go to the NLU Delhi official website.
  • Click on ‘Register to Apply Now,’ then provide the following information to create a signup/login account:
  • E-mail 
  • Address 
  • Name
  • Password
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Click on Confirm Registration, then sign in again to complete the application form.
  • Choose a law course, after selecting the course for which you wish to be enrolled, applicants must proceed to the next step by clicking on the “Apply Now” option.
  • After successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates may fill out the form to finish the NLU Delhi admissions application process.
  • Candidates then need to upload their photo and signature.
  • Candidates need to pay the application fee as the final step in the application process.

Admit Card

The admit card for AILET 2023 will be released tentatively on November 20, 2023, by National Law University (NLU), Delhi. Candidates may obtain their AILET 2023 admit card through the university’s official website, nationallawuniversity.in. The admit card is required to take the AILET exam 2023, which will be held offline mode in December 2022. Candidates must use their registered phone number and password to get their AILET 2023 admit card from the official website. The AILET 2023 admit card contains information such as the candidate’s application number, roll number, exam centre, and exam instructions. 

AILET Exam PG 2023 Important Dates 

The AILET 2023 exam will be held in the month of December tentatively on 14, December 2023. The exam will be held offline in pen and paper mode. The exam will be for 1 hour 30 mins in total. There will be 150 questions in total on the AILET 2023 BA LLB exam.

The AILET LLM 2023 exam will include 100 questions and 10 descriptive questions. The exams will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 pm.

Result 

Tentatively on December 19, 2022, the National Law University (NLU)  Delhi will announce the AILET 2023 results. AILET 2023 results may be downloaded from the NLU Delhi official examination webpage – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To download scorecards, candidates must enter their AILET login ID and password. The AILET result 2023 includes information such as the candidate’s exam score, all-India rank, and subject-wise distribution of marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programmes based on merit and preference.

  •  Log in with your credentials 
  • Click on  “AILET result 2023”.
  • A new tab with AILET result will be displayed on the screen
  • Check all the important information and marks 
  • Download the scorecard of AILET 2023 for future reference

Counselling 

The registration for AILET 2023 counselling will begin in the last week of December 2023. The first list of provisionally selected candidates will be out by the first week of January 2024. Candidates will be able to deposit their fees from January’s first week to confirm their admission. The university will release the All India Law Entrance Test 2023  provisional admission list after each AILET counselling round.
