Karnataka TET GD and PI Process
The selection will be based on the candidate’s performance on the KARTET 2023 exam. To be eligible for this exam, applicants must receive a score of 60 per cent in the general category and 55 per cent in the reserved category. The successful applicant may apply for teaching positions in both public and private schools. The student must pass the exam to go to the personal interview.

Karnataka TET GD and PI: Important Documents
For their shortlisted candidates, the Karnataka Teaching Eligibility Test includes a group discussion (GI) and a personal interview (PI) phase. The KARTET counselling process includes the GI and PI. The student must go through a document verification process in addition to the group discussion and personal interview rounds.
In order to complete the KARTET application, candidates must have the following documents on hand before applying for the exam:
- Educational certificates (certificates of Class 10 and 12)
- Scanned recent passport-size photograph
- Scanned signature
- Debit Card/Credit card for payment
