How to apply for the Karnataka TET 2023?

To successfully apply for the Karnataka TET 2023, candidates must visit the official website of the Department of School Education, Karnataka at https://sts.karnataka.gov.in/TET/ and start their application process.

How to fill out Karnataka TET application form?

The Karnataka TET application forms will be filled out online on the official portal of the Department of School Education, Karnataka. No offline application forms will be accepted.

What documents need to be uploaded while filling out the KARTET application form?

While filling out the KARTET application form, candidates are required to upload original copies of their documents in the desired format. The documents required are the candidate’s latest passport-size photograph, bachelor’s degree certificate, matriculation and intermediate certificates and any government-issued ID card (aadhar card/ driving licence/ passport/ pan card).

What is the Karnataka Teaching Eligibility Test application fee?

The application fee for the Karnataka TET is INR 1000 for both papers. If any candidate wishes to appear for only one paper, they will have to pay INR 700.

Who is eligible for the Karnataka TET 2023?

To become eligible for the Karnataka TET 2023, candidates must have completed PUC/ Senior Secondary education with a minimum aggregate of 50% and a 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed). Candidates who are in their final year of Diploma or graduation can also apply for this teaching eligibility test.

What is the age limit required for the Karnataka TET 2023?

The Karnataka TET 2023 has no age limit criteria. Candidates who possess the minimum required education qualifications can apply for this teaching qualification exam.

What are the minimum marks required to pass the KARTET 2023?

Candidates belonging to the unreserved category must score at least 60% marks in the KARTET exams; Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who belong to the reserved category are required to score a minimum of 55% marks out of a total of 150.

The subject of Child Development and Pedagogy includes the following topics: The concept of development and its relationship, Principles of the development of children, Influence of Heredity & Environment, Socialization processes, Piaget, Kohlberg, and Vygotsky, Concepts of child-centred and progressive education, Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence, Multi-Dimensional Intelligence, etc.

What are the optional subjects in the Karnataka TET exam?

The KARTET 2023 exam will have optional subjects for candidates. Candidates who want to teach Mathematics or Science will have questions about these subjects in the paper. Candidates who want to teach Social science will have questions about this subject. Both these sections will consist of a total of 60 marks in the exam.

What is the Karnataka TET exam duration?

The Karnataka TET exam will have a time limit of 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) for each paper. At this time, candidates are required to attend all the 150 MCQs.

How many papers will be there in the KARTET 2023?

The KARTET 2023 will have two papers: Paper I for Primary teachers (Classes I to V) and Elementary teachers (Classes VI to VII).

How many questions will be there in the Karnataka TET 2023?
