Karnataka PGCET Selection Process Dates

The Karnataka PGCET selection process dates are released by the officials of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) with the exam notification. As per the latest updates given by the conducting body, the Karnataka PGCET application process will start in the latter half of July 2023 and the exam will commence in August 2023. Karnataka PGCET Selection Process

The Karnataka PGCET selection process will start with the Karnataka PGCET written exam. The Karnataka PGCET written exam is annually organised by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to offer admission to postgraduate courses in government colleges and universities of Karnataka. After the written examination, candidates will have to wait until the results are declared. After the declaration of results or merit list, the selected candidates will be eligible for the counselling process, which is conducted in online mode.

Written Exam

The Karnataka PGCET written examination will be conducted in offline mode by the KEA at respective examination centres. Candidates will have to appear for the exam with their respective admit cards on a specified date and time. The Karnataka PGCET examination will consist of 2 hours 30 minutes, in which candidates will have to attend a total of 100 multiple-choice questions. For every correct answer, candidates will be given 1 mark each.

Declaration of Results

The Karnataka PGCET 2023 results will be declared separately for each course. Candidates applying for a particular course will have to check their results by logging on to the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority. The results will be available after the commencement of the examination. Candidates who will appear for the written examination can download their respective admit cards once they are released from the officials.

Counselling

Once the Karnataka PGCET results are declared, the selected candidates will have to apply for counselling on the official website of the conducting body. To apply for the Karnataka PGCET counselling process, candidates must enter their application number and full name on the portal. The counselling process will be conducted in online mode, except for the document verification, for which candidates will have to appear physically at the specified centres.
