DGDE SDO Exam Pattern
The DGDE exam pattern for the test conducted in the year 2022 contains four subjects. The test paper would be in both Hindi ad English. All those candidates who are shortlisted will have to appear for a skill test to test their capability of handling an electronic total station and other aspects of land survey. DGDE SDO Selection Process
To become a sub-divisional officer in the ministry of defense you would have to undergo the selection process which involves
- Written Examination– A written examination is conducted for 150 marks for 2 hours. The questions would be in both- Hindi and English.
- Skill test– Those who qualify for the written examination are called for a skill test to access their ability to conduct a Land survey and Electronic Total Station. The skill test is usually taken for the shortlisted candidates on the second day after the written examination.

The DGDE Sub Divisional Officer salary is from 3000 to 34,800 INR. In addition to this DGDE, SDO will receive their Grade Pay + 4200 INR. That is based on the 6th level of the 7th Central Pay Commission. This salary includes standard deductions of several benefits.
