Successful Landing of Chandrayaan-3
As per the information given by the ISRO, Department of Space, Chandrayaan-3 has successfully landed on the south pole of the moon. After 40 days of journey from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Chandrayaan-3 reaches the lunar south pole. Chandrayaan-3 Landing
ISRO revealed they are ready to begin the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS). their entire team is just waiting for the Lander Module (LM) of the Chandrayaan-3 to reach the designated point on the moon’s surface. As per their estimate, the Lander would touch the moon’s surface at around 5:44 PM (IST).
As soon as they receive the ALS command, the Lander Module activates the engines for powered descent.
