Kya biology k student BA. Psychology kr skta h?
-
Hi, Ekta!
Definitely you can go for it. Biology is not a compulsory subject to pursue your career in BA Psychology.
After 12th you can pursue BSc or BA, then MSC or MA, whatever suits you. Although, Biology helps you study clinical psychology better.

Hi Delisha,
Yes, you can apply for BA Psychology or BSc Psychology after your 12th even if you are a commerce student. You should have English as a subject in your grade 12th as it is academic eligibility asked by many universities. My daughter has taken Medical stream : Physics, Chemistry, Biology in order to qualify for BSc in psychology as she is interested more in BSc side. But she is struggling to get good marks in Physics and Chemistry and we are afraid that she, who is otherwise a bright students (scoring full or 99 % marks in other subjects) won’t get admission on good college based on overall aggregate marks and Physics, Chemistry are also not that important from psychology career perspective. So we are still not sure the benefits of BSc in psycho over BA. What advantage and type of carreer choice it will bring to her. Why US and Top Delhi colleges are not offering BSc Psycho courses? She is 11th standard, giving final exam so we still can change to BA in 12th. We are confused … Can you please help?
