Western Sydney University, originally the University of Western Sydney, is a multi-campus Australian university located in Sydney's Greater Western district. The university was established in 1989 as a federated network university after the merger of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College and the Nepean College of Advanced Education. The university is affiliated with AACSB International, ACU, AHURI, IRU, AMC, CAPA, IAU and Universities Australia. WSU is ranked #=494 in the QS World University Rankings 2022 and #201-250 in THE World University Rankings 2022, respectively. WSU is also ranked #247 in the US News & World Report Best Global Universities Rankings 2022. 

Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses

As a Western Sydney University student, you will be a member of a vibrant, flourishing, and culturally diverse community. As previously stated, WSU is a multi-campus university with campuses located around Greater Western Sydney. Its study abroad programme is offered at campuses around Sydney (Parramatta and Parramatta City, Penrith, Bankstown, Liverpool City, Campbelltown, and Hawkesbury) in a range of geographically and culturally varied areas. The campuses are well-connected to local transit hubs via free shuttles. The university is renowned for its bachelors and masters programs in a variety of disciplines like Human Health, Science, Engineering, Management, Business, Law, Medicine and many more.
