History, Affiliations and Rankings 

The University of Fraser Valley was established in 1974 in British Columbia, Canada. Initially, the university was named Fraser Valley college and the University College of Fraser Valley. The university was established to fulfil the need for vocational education in the communities of Fraser Valley. To meet the growing needs of the citizens of the province, the government granted complete university status to the university on 21 April 2008. The University of Fraser is affiliated with many different bodies like U Sports, AUCC, CUP, CBIE, CWUSS, etc.  The ranking of this university according to the QS World University Rankings is unknown but the data shows that the QS awarded it with 4 stars in the overall category and 5 stars in terms of teaching, internationalization, employability and inclusiveness. 

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses 

 The university has distinguished campuses in the world, and this is one of the international universities which have their campuses in India as well. There are two main campuses of the Fraser Valley and they are Abbotsford Campus and Chilliwack Campus. The other two locations are Mission Campus at Heritage Park Center and Hope Campus. There are various programs for which the students can enrol like Bachelor's degree, diploma, associate degree, masters degree, and citations. The degree programs of the university are available in various faculties like fine arts, social science, applied communication, humanity science, nursing, business, technology, and trade. The university also established three schools. 

Accomplishments and Alumni 

The university has more than 10,000 alumni across the world. A few of them include Lauren Southern (Political Activist, Youtuber, and White Nationalist), Simon Nessman (Canadian Supermodel), Shane Wiebe (Participant of Canadian Idol), Sage Testini (Actor), Mark Village (Canadian Soccer Player) among others. 

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies 

Presently there are more than 15,176 students in the university who are educated by 710 staff members. The enrollment in the university is growing day by day. This is the reason why the university increases the seats for the students. The university operations are funded around $60 million annually.
