History, Affiliations, and Rankings
Before the 1960s, there were only trade colleges that co-existed with universities in the province of Ontario, Canada, at the undergraduate level, almost all of which had been founded firstly to assist veterans to rejoin the public in the post-battle time. Loyalist College was established in 1967 as a piece of a provincial enterprise to make many such colleges offer skill-driven diploma and certificate courses, as well as carrying on their education courses to Ontario societies. The name of the college throws back the venue’s primary enterprise by United Empire Loyalists. Loyalist College has been accredited for the second consecutive time by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) Accreditation Bureau has provided 7-year accreditation status to Loyalist College and the Brock-Loyalist Collaborative BSc course. Loyalist has been ranked 150th in webometrics country rank.

Loyalist College is situated in North York, Toronto. Accomplishments and Alumni
Loyalist has persisted to enhance and promote, adding further groundbreaking programs. The college has also added new housing to hold not only Canadian scholars but an adding number of foreign scholars. The demand for further skilful trades employees inspirited a fresh boost in 2010-11 with the construction of the Bay of Quinte Skills Centre. This state-of-the-art-square base establishment was assembled with a $16.6 million investment from the provincial and national governments. Thanks in big share to all these ace advancements, Loyalist College proudly claims an impressive 96 from Loyalist graduates who would suggest the College to their peers. Loyalist continues to endeavour for these impactful rankings and currently ranks among the top institutions in Canada. Alumni of this institution are Jamie Schmale MP for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock and Todd Smith MPP for Bay of Quinte.

There are 1,356 international students, adding to the world-class on-campus experience. Loyalist College was ranked in the top 25% in Ontario for graduate employment, according to KPI results. Students from this university have no trouble finding jobs at major corporations and companies such as IBM, Oracle, Cisco, Accenture, Google, P&G, Barclays, and others.
