Eligibility Requirements
The apply for the York University scholarship (application required) students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The basic criterion is to be an international student. The rest are as follows:
- The undergraduate student must have a study permit to study in Canada
- Must have an excellent academic record with a minimum A grade point average.
- Must have applied to a UG program at York University. (Fall 2024)
- Demonstrate leadership skills through community service or excellence in sports, and extracurricular activities
- Must have submitted letters of recommendation or supporting documents as required

York University offers scholarships that cover full/partial scholarships. To renew the scholarship, the scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 8.0. Additionally, the student must have taken a total of 24 credits during the entire academic year.
York University offers approximately 10 entrance scholarships to international students. Those who have received offer letters from the university are eligible to apply. Additionally, the university offers 5 more scholarships for undergraduate students. These scholarships require applications to be submitted.
