The University of Sussex has launched this scholarship scheme for students who have already taken admission to a master’s course at this university. How to Apply?
Candidates who are interested and who fulfill all the eligibility requirements for the Scholarship can apply for this scholarship by following the instructions given below.
- Candidates must apply for any master’s course through the online application system of the University of Sussex.
- After the successful completion application for a master’s course, your Sussex scholarship will proceed accordingly.
- Candidates who have successfully taken admission at the University of Sussex must register themselves for this scholarship through the PG Apply section, which is available at the portal of this university.
- You won’t have to fill out any separate application form for the Sussex India Scholarship.
- Candidates have to keep their offer letter with themselves as proof.
- The scholarship will be automatically awarded to candidates with a reduction (discount) in their tuition fee upon pursuing their education at this university.
- After accepting the Sussex India Scholarship, candidates will be required to undertake occasional duties or volunteer support for the University events or fests.

Courses Included
There are a lot of Master’s courses available at the University of Sussex. Each candidate can apply for only one course at a given time. No candidate will be allowed to select two postgraduate courses together. Here is a list of all postgraduate courses for which the Sussex India Scholarship is available.

- Graduate Diplomas in Economics
- Master’s Degrees in Social Work
- Postgraduate Diplomas
- PGCE courses & Schools Direct Teaching Courses
- LLM in Corruption, Law & Governance (Delivered in Qatar)
- Pre-Masters Degrees & Diplomas Taught at Partner Colleges which are validated by Sussex.
- Common Professional Examination (CPE) or Graduate Diploma in Law
- Masters in Arts Degrees in IDS (Excluding MA in Gender and Development)
- Social Work Post-Qualifying Masters Degrees
Eligibility Criteria
The successfully receive the benefits of the Sussex India Scholarship, candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the required eligibility criteria for this scholarship, to become eligible for the Sussex India Scholarship, candidates must be:
- Must be a citizen of India
- Classified as ‘Overseas’ (abroad) for fee purposes.
- Must have applied for a full-time Masters’s course before September 2023.
Candidates having their offer letter with themselves to pursue their higher education from the University of Sussex Business School will be eligible to amalgamate this award with the Business School International Masters Award for 2023. Candidates with an offer letter to pursue their education from the School of Engineering and Informatics will be eligible to amalgamate this scholarship award with the Engineering and Informatics International Masters Award for 2023.
*Note – If any candidate has arranged for funds from an external source or third party, these candidates will not be eligible for the Sussex India Scholarship.
