Study in Canada: York University President’s International Scholarship Of Excellence 2024 Now Open

York University is offering Presdent’s International Scholarship of Excellence for the Academic year 2024–25. The scholarship covers the entire tuition fees for the students who have received applied to the university for an eligible program. Some of the eligible programs include Environmental Studies; Education, Health, Arts, Media, Performance & Design. A total of 20 scholarships are available for 4 years ($45,000x 4). York University ranks 353 in the world. Hence, it is an excellent university to study abroad. Note: the scholarship is only available to Bachelor’s students. The scholarship deadline is on 1 February 2024.

York University President’s International Scholarship Of Excellence Eligibility 

The York University Presidents International Scholarship eligibility requirements are as follows:

• Must be an international student who has applied to an eligible undergraduate program at the university. For example, Lassonde School of Engineering, Schulich School of Business, etc.
• Additionally, the applicant must have received a study permit to study in Canada and must have applied to the university directly after high school. A gap of more than 2 years is not acceptable.
• The applicant must have provided a minimum “A” grade or equivalent. Additionally, he/she must demonstrate leadership qualities through community service or excellence in sports, arts, or other similar areas.
• Moreover, the student has to be nominated by their high school. Note: each student can nominate only 1 student

York University President’s International Scholarship Of Excellence Application Process

The York University Presidents International Scholarship of Excellence selection process is as follows: 

• The applicant must be nominated by the school. For this purpose, the student must speak to the academic advisor/principal/administrator of their respective school.
• Next, the information has to be provided in the application form. For example, details such as the name of the nominator, position, and email address. 
• The completed application form has to be submitted before the deadline.

The applicants with the highest academic standing, and demonstrated leadership skills are selected for the scholarship. The beneficiaries must have a high academic standing each year to renew the scholarship. That is 7.80 on a 9-point York scale.
