Study in Australia: International Students Rate  80.2% to Aussie Universities Over the Quality of Education
In the recent QILT survey, Australian universities were rated 80.2% for education quality and 83.8% for learning resources by international students after the dip in ratings during the pandemic. 

Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) released its recent report for student ratings in 2022. This year, Australia has remarkably improved on the student experience index. QILT recorded a total of 53,316 valid responses, and the response rate was 33.6%.

After a dip in 2020 and 2021 responses, the records in 2022 have experienced an upward curve in positive responses. International students have rated their overall experience to be 74.4% which is a significant improvement from last year’s rating of 67.2%. 

International students rated 80.2% for education quality and 83.8% for learning resources for education institutions in Australia. Skill development, which received a rating of 81.8% also improved according to the students. 

In just one year, we achieved a significant improvement in learning engagement, increasing it from 48.4% to 61.5%. Response to student support measures has also increased by approximately 5%.

Improvement in Education Standards

During the pandemic, Australia faced a historic low in student satisfaction surveys due to closed borders and unsatisfactory online learning experiences. The conditions snatched the opportunity of experiencing student life abroad from international students. 

It also limited access to various educational resources as well as talent development and employment programs. The quality of teaching also dissatisfied students to an extent in those years. The country and students suffered from the limitations of the closed borders. 

Besides that, the government made provisions and this year, Australia has set a new benchmark for itself in the same field. Teaching quality, skill development and learner engagement were never rated this high by international students as this year. 

Moreover, the living experience was also rated positively by 93.6% of international undergraduate students in Australia. Accommodation experience also got a historic rating of 91.3%. As for visas and their processes, international students have spoken their hearts by giving a 93.2% positive response.
