Dubai tourist visa is for those individuals who are not eligible for a visa on arrival or a visa-free entry to Dubai. Females are not allowed to apply for this type of visa if they are under 18 years of age unless they are travelling with their parents. As per a Cabinet resolution passed in July 2018, children who are under 18 years of age and are accompanying adults will get a free visa for their visit from 15th July to 15th September every year.

- Dubai Tourist Visa 14-Day: With this visa, the candidates can stay in the country for a maximum of 14 days. The validity is for two months. Students will get this visa on arrival in Dubai.
- Dubai Tourist Visa 30-Day: The validity of this visa is 30 days. This visa will lapse after 60 days. This visa in Dubai can be extended for a maximum of 10 days subject to certain terms and conditions.

- The type of visa depends on several factors such as the purpose of the visit, nationality, and duration.
- Candidates must ensure to apply for the right type of visa depending on their travel plan
- The validity of the tourist visas is up to 60 days from the date of issue. However, a transit visa, 48-hour, and 96-hour visa are only valid for 30 days after issuing the visa.
- Candidates must apply for the Dubai visa at least a month before they travel
- In order to be eligible for a travel visa the passport must be valid for at least 6 months
- They must carry all the required documents such as passport, return tickets, and passport-size photographs.

- Handwritten passports will no longer be accepted.
- The student should have no previous criminal record.
