Can international students work in Sri Lanka? Yes. International students wanting to study in Sri Laka need to get a ‘Residence visa for educational purposes’. This visa is valid for 1 year or for the duration of your studies. While you hold this visa, you are permitted to undertake the following types of work-

Can international students work in Sri Lanka after graduation? Yes. You can apply for a work visa. The work visa application process is as follows-

  1. First, visit the Department of Immigration & Emigration, Colombo website 
  2. Download the visa application form, and fill out the same

Can I Renew My Sri Lanka Residence Visa for Employment?
