ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that stands for Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer. It uses natural language processing that helps the chatbot to interact in a conversational manner. In this way, the dialogue format helps ChatGPT to answer users’ follow-up questions, admit where it is wrong, reject inappropriate requests for information, and do a lot more interesting stuff. In addition to this, the technology of this bot is similar to the automated chat services usually found on customer service websites. 

Who Created ChatGPT? 

The ChatGPT technology was created by OpenAI and launched on 30 November 2022. It is a popular non-profit AI and research company aimed to develop and enhance artificial intelligence. • ChatGPT uses a specialized neural network which is known by the name Generative Pre-Trainer Transformer (GPT). This helps to find patterns in data sequences.
• Originally, this chatbot levied the use of the GPT-3 large language model. As the name specifies, it is the third generation of GPT and a neural network machine learning model. 
• Today, it uses the GPT-3.5 language model which includes a fine-tuning process for its algorithm. 
• On the other hand, ChatGPT Plus uses the GPT-4 language model which is capable of handling more complex tasks than other models. For instance, it can generate captions for your images, describe photos, or create detailed responses of up to 25,000 words. Impressive, right? 

How Does It Work? 

Here is an overview of how ChatGPT works to address your queries: 

• ChatGPT uses a popular subset of machine learning which is known as deep learning. This helps the AI bot to produce human-like text through transformer neural networks. 
• By using the typical sequence of its training data, the transformer then predicts the next word, sentence, or paragraph. 
• The training commences with generic data and gradually moves to data that is specifically tailored to complete a particular task. Since this AI bot was trained with online text to learn the human language, it makes use of transcripts to learn basic conversations. 
• You just have to type your query in the chat box and enter send. After this, the AI tool will search its database and reply with an answer!

Is ChatGPT Better than Google?
